This test was done using, downloaded an app then did a baseline speed test ( took about 3 minutes ), got ~15Mbps download but still 8Mbps upload rate. COMCAST SPEEDTEST ANDROID
The following speed test was done using a laptop with an Intel 2.4GHz dual-core processor and the 'Speedtest' app downloaded from Google Play on Android 5.1 with Android's built-in IPV6 support turned off. It found that the average download speed of Comcast subscribers at 11.5Mbps was significantly slower than other major providers such as Verizon Fios (16.5Mbs), AT&T U-verse (14.7Mbps), and Charter Communications (13.6Mbps). The Xfinity Speed Test was conducted in May of this year by more than 12,000 consumers for Ookla, which owns and operates.
